Is Nixx's Follow Up Single On "Fleek"?

Fleek Song Review

Fleek is a weird song for me. On one hand, I love Nixx's voice. She just has this you need to listen to this kind of voice, no matter what she's singing. The lyrics are not as great but there are some gems in there. Like the first verse is just perfect, along with the pre-chorus and chorus. I like the last line of the hook but the word Fleek has been outdated for over 3 years at least, and that's for white people.

Produced by Rayted Next, the vocals are mixed extremely well even though the beat

is not original. Written entirely by Nixx herself, the song captures the essence of teen life, girl power and self-love.

The second verse feels like it's phoned in to be honest. I do like all the local references and the choppy flow at the end but it pales largely in comparison to the first one. her voice is still hot af though!!

Nixx has huge potential. She could be Sierra Leone's greatest female artist of all time. All that is required is more hits, more hits and last but not least, more hits.
